Krzysztof has returned from his last trip to Ukraine and successfully delivered the firetruck “close to the Devil” (his description.
Krzysztof also managed to deliver many tires he strapped on to the truck along with other supplies stowed in every nook and cranny.
Unfortunately, the heater in the firetruck was not operating and Krzysztof had to sleep in the unheated cab. Even though he was covered with blankets and a quilt it was quite cold and he got sick. He was in the hospital for a week when he returned.
He won’t let that stop him though. He is now including families and children in his support to help them, particularly the school-age children who are growing up in ” a world that doesn’t stand still” and living in a destroyed city. He hopes to start a foundation to help these children by supplying computers, notebooks and other school needs.
Krzysztof continues to appreciate and truly need our AAI support. He thanks you for your donations and for believing in him as he strives to help the Ukrainian people survive Putin’s war. He hopes people realize that even though the struggle is no longer on the evening news every night, the war and all its’ horror continues. You can see an earlier post HERE
