Hearts full of Help
AAI’s Bobby Steward introduced us to Bishnu Sapkota, a Nepali who is getting an advanced degree in child trafficking prevention and is dedicated to educating the poorest of the poor to keep them safe from being trafficked. Bishnu told AAI that one village had 53 children with no shoes and warm clothes.
As her Christmas present to all this year, AAI’s Kate Jewell sent Bishnu enough money to buy clothes and shoes for 53 children. Below are photos from distribution day which was a great success…perhaps too great as 100 children showed up. The question now is how to get funds to buy warm clothes and shoes for the other 47.
You’ll note the “old man” in the blanket. He is pathetically poor and Bishnu managed to scrape together enough funds to buy him a warm blanket. The man cried upon receiving this gift.
If you would like to help the “other 47” and more, please click here.
Here is the note from Bishnu:
“Thank you for your support!
