A group of us visited House of Life and got our nails done!!! We brought small gifts for the babies and the girls and had fun giving them out.
Suzy brought a special cake and had a game with the girls winning prizes! Gabriella surprised everyone by buying pizza for all!
This is the only house of its kind here in El Salvador and a Safe House for young girls who have been raped, many of them by their own family members!

A month of Miracles and New Beginnings
“Dear friends,
I’ve always believed that every month will bring its own miracles—and July is already overflowing with them.
Just a couple of weeks ago, our Baby Wings program welcomed a two-day old baby boy into our Mi Casa family. He arrived so tiny, so fresh from the womb — and with him came a new chapter of hope. Holding him reminded me that when children are embraced by love, stimulation, and safety from day one, the possibilities for their future are endless—a new beginning for a new life.
At the House of Life, we recently witnessed a deeply moving moment. One of our young mothers, who had been separated from her older daughter for far too long, was finally reunited with her precious little girl. The look on her face as she held her child again is forever ingrained in my mind. She radiated overwhelming joy, love and thankfulness. Few things are more enduring than the bond between a mother and child. It reminded us that healing can also happen when God restores what once felt lost and brings about a new beginning for a small family.

nd there’s more. This month, the girls at House of Life have also been diving into cosmetology training — a skill that brings both confidence and opportunity. It’s more than just learning to cut or style nails; it’s about preparing for dignified, creative work they can take pride in. You should see the smiles when they practice on each other!
At the same time, they’re beginning to explore basic financial literacy, including tools like Bitcoin, to start building a foundation for long-term independence. Every new class, every small step, is shaping a new life future filled with hope and a bright future.”
