PLEASE HELP THE PARISH OF ST. ELIZABETH
Help Jamaica Rebuild at Ground Zero
Here is a message from flight attendant Sylvia Doreen Bryan:
I’ve been flying for 25 years. My connection to Jamaica runs deeper than layovers. From 2009-2014, I was a commuter living in St. Elizabeth. I walked the streets in Santa Cruz. I know the families in Siloah. Hurricane Melissa decimated the communities where I used to call home. St. Elizabeth Parish Western and Southern regions are considered Ground Zero. Families have lost everything.
Why This Matters
I am blessed with the honor to work with Airline Ambassadors International founder Nancy Rivard to make this mission possible. This isn’t about big organizations or bureaucracy. This is direct aid person to person. Dr. Kevin Hylton, who lives part-time in Jamaica, will personally ensure every dollar goes directly for water, food, rebuilding homes, and supplies. There are no middlemen, no overhead, just help where it’s needed most.
How You Can Help
We’re asking for $10 or more per donor. This campaign will run for 30 days on the Airline Ambassadors International website. Regular updates will be available to see our efforts come to fruition.
The AAI Difference
At Airline Ambassadors International, we believe in the power of personal connections. We don’t just send aid, we deliver it ourselves. We stay connected. We follow through. Dr. Kevin Hylton will be on the ground to ensure our mission is applied in an orderly and dignified manner.

What Families Are Facing Right Now

Hurricane floodwaters contaminated wells and destroyed water systems causing people to drink unsafe water and risk waterborne illness. Children are going hungry. Refrigerators are useless without power forcing families to ration what is safe to eat. Crops are ruined, markets are gone.
There is no shelter. Families are sleeping in damaged homes exposed to the elements because roofs are blown off and walls are collapsed.
Basic first aid and medical supplies are unavailable. People with chronic conditions can’t get their medications. Minor injuries are turning serious. There is no power or reliable communication. The elderly are unable to travel to relief centers.
These aren’t just headlines to me, these are people I know. The man who sold me fresh fish at the market, friends and neighbors preparing dinner, the driver who took me to the airport for my commute to Miami, these are fond memories I hold dear to this day.
Why I’m Partnering with Airline Ambassadors International
I reached out to Nancy Rivard, who founded Airline Ambassadors International over 30 years ago when she was a flight attendant. Nancy and AAI has worked with humanitarian missions, human trafficking awareness, and children’s education programs, in more than 52 countries. What began as a grassroots effort among airline employees has grown into an internationally recognized nonprofit, affiliated with the United Nations and honored by the U.S. Congress for its humanitarian work.
How Your Donation Helps:
$10 buys clean drinking water for a family.
$20 provides a week of basic food supplies.
$75 delivers emergency supplies to multiple households in hard to reach areas.
$175 helps rebuild homes that were lost.
But honestly? Any amount helps, $5, $10, $25.
Whatever you give matters. It all adds up to survival for families who have nothing left.
This campaign will run for 30 days (until December 12) on the AAI website.
