We are fundraising to respond immedately to Hurricane Fiona and current hurricanes in Florida.
AAI was first on the ground after the tsunami in Thailand, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Mitch, the earthquakes in El Salvador and Haiti. However things have changed and it is more dfficult for us to get on flghts and we want to have an emergency funds available.
Jose Redondo flew to Puerto Rico to check on his mom, and when he saw and the devastation, power outages, lack of water and food he know he could not sit by and do nothing. Airline Ambasadors established an emergency fund to help and we are working through local NGO’s to help those most in need.
After his next flight attendant trip, he flew BACK to Puerto Rico to help those suffereng. He spend one day volunteering with Happy Givers and El Comedor Kennedy and hand delivered food and water to hand deliver to grateful recipients
He directly benefitted 37 familes – 137 people!
