This week, Sept 27, 2024 Airline Ambassadors held the first menstrual cup “Train The Trainer” and distribution in the country of El Salvador. About 45 women leaders (and some men) attended at the headquarters of Gente Ayudondo Gente in San Salvador. https://fullercenter.org/ thriving-elsalvador/
With the help of Deborah Quigley, volunteer, Nancy Rivard, AAI Founder, and the leadership of Gente Ayudando Gente’s Lisselot Troconis, our presentation and distribution was a success.
Deborah has been distributing menstrual cups globally in underserved communities: Uganda, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, NYC, and now El Salvador. The cup is new to most attendees but has been gaining popularity on the global market for being: Eco Friendly (no plastics, no chemicals, no monthly waste) Body Safe (plastic free, chemical free, no PFAs) Longer Wear Time (up to 12 hours of protection) and Cost Effectiveness (one cup can be used for up to 10 years)
AAI looks forward to monitoring the cup’s acceptance and like-ability here as we look forward to serving more communities globally.
