CWF and AAI is deepening its commitment to El Salvador, a country significantly affected by water contamination. Nancy Rivard’s meeting with Gustavo Magana a renowned coffee conglomerate in El Salvador, signifies a major step forward. Gustavo, who supplies coffee to major companies like Starbucks, will partner with CWF and AAI to source high-grade, 84-plus Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffee. A percentage of all coffee sales will directly fund the purchase of water units for families across El Salvador, addressing the pressing water crisis.
“We are incredibly excited about this partnership with Gustavo Magana and Nancy Rivard,” said Leon McLaughlin CEO of CWF, a key figure in AAI’s clean water initiatives. “His expertise and commitment will be instrumental in promoting our ‘Coffee For A Cause’ and ensuring that more families in El Salvador have access to clean, safe drinking water.”The custom-made water units are designed to go into every home, providing a sustainable solution to the contaminated water issues prevalent in many regions of El Salvador.
