Leon McLaughlin is continually fundraising to provide clean, fresh drinking water to support the Hopi Project as well as coffee projects in Hawaii El Salvador, Spain and MORE! This is a note from him:

20% of our commission from selling Gustavo Magana  El Salvador coffee here in the USA and around the world will go for water projects for schools and clinics in El Salvador and we will be working with Airline Ambassadors identifying the schools and clinics where we will be installing these water units at in El Salvador.

20% of those sales from the Hawaii Kona coffee will go to buy our custom-made water units for schools and clinics in Hawaii and on the Hopi and Navajo Reservation

Feb the 16th Valentine’s Day weekend our water for children music event for raised an additional $1,205! for the Hopi and Navajo reservation with International Opera, Jazz and Blues Singer Kim Maguire and The Sugartime Trio at Kim Maguire’s beautiful home in Kirkland.  because of our efforts  3,700 children now have clean fresh drinking water on the Hopi and Navajo Reservations!  We will be ordering water units and replacement filters for Ernest. Remember each water unit can supply 50 people with clean fresh drinking water for $150 and you don’t have to replace the filter until after 10,000 gallons of water has been used and each replacement filter provides 50 people with drinking water and you don’t have to replace the replacement filter until after 10,000 gallons of water has been used  and those replacement filters cost $50 if it’s the ones that take out the viruses and contaminants.

Leon traveled to Las Vegas, where he met with an extraordinary singer from New Zealand named Lisa Crawley. Rolling Stone Magazine had just featured her in a major article, highlighting her shows in Los Angeles and around the world. Leon’s great friend, David Osborne, a renowned pianist who has played for seven different presidents at the White House, joined them.

A Model Brew: From Madrid to the World

In the bustling city of Madrid, where the aroma of fresh coffee wafts through the narrow cobblestone streets, lives a model with a heart as warm as her favorite brew. This model, Ambar, has a passion not just for fashion, but also for making a difference in the world.

Ambar’s journey began in the vibrant café culture of Madrid, where she often posed for coffee brands, bringing a touch of elegance to every cup. But her story was destined to be more than just about coffee; it was about creating ripples of change, one cup at a time.

One sunny afternoon, while enjoying a cappuccino at her favorite café, Ambar met with Leon McLaughlin, the founder of the Clean Water Foundation. Together, they conceived a visionary idea that would blend their love for coffee with a noble cause—providing clean water for children through music.

Inspired by their shared vision, Ambar and Leon talk to Alejandro Fernandez and Nancy Rivard CEO of Airline Ambassadors and reached out to coffee farmers across the globe, sharing their dream. From the lush coffee plantations of Hawaii to the vibrant fields of El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic where in Hawaii and some of those countries Leon and the Clean Water Foundation installed water units in schools and clinics for children to have clean fresh drinking water the response was overwhelming. Coffee farmers eagerly joined hands, contributing their finest beans to a project that promised to change lives.

The “Coffee for Water” initiative was born, a harmonious blend of coffee, clean water, and music. Ambar help Leon organized events in Hawaii, Australia, El Salvador, and Panama, where the finest coffee was served, local musicians performed, and stories of hope were shared. Each show was a inauguration celebration of unity, bridging continents through the universal love of coffee and the urgent need for clean water.

As the project gained momentum, Ambar’s image outside the café in Madrid became iconic—a symbol of what passion and purpose can achieve. The cover of the storybook tells this tale, capturing the essence of a model who turned her platform into a force for good.

With each page of the storybook, readers are taken on a journey from the elegant cafés of Madrid to the vibrant coffee-growing communities around the world. It’s a story of collaboration, compassion, and the belief that even the simplest of pleasures, like a cup of coffee, can become a catalyst for change
