Airline Ambassador’s first project on Global Giving was Water4Hopi.
536 non profits participated in a 3 week campaign and came in 3rd PLACE raising over $20,000 to provide water filters for the Hopi Reservation! We delivered the first 18 filters from Clean Water Foundation on Oct. 24, 2020.
Our team traveled to Arizona, toured Isagenix Headquarters, a sponsor of the project, and on to Sedona to meet Hopi representatives Ernest Taho and Albert Cassini. We provided the first 18 Reverse Osmosis filters, Wellness training materials, 100 Angel Shirts and 100 masks for Hopi Children. Nancy Lucarelli was so impressed when she learned firsthand about the crisis, that she bought another filter for a needy family.
We all celebrated with a drum circle lead by Thunderbeat!
Our team left Sedona inspired and ready to do more to help the Hopi. We are planning another Campaign to raise funds

The need is still great and you can still Help!
The primary meaning of the word “Hopi” is “behaving one, one who is mannered, civilized, peaceable, polite, who adheres to the Hopi Way. Hopi is a concept deeply rooted in the culture’s religion, spirituality, and its view of morality and ethics. To be Hopi is to strive toward this concept, which involves a state of total reverence and respect for all things, to be at peace with these things, and to live in accordance with the instructions of Maasaw, the Creator or Caretaker of Earth. The Hopi observe their traditional ceremonies for the benefit of the entire world. The Hopi have always viewed their land as sacred and themselves as caretakers of the land that they inherited from their ancestors.
Today, the Hopi Reservation is entirely surrounded by the much larger Navajo Reservation. The two nations used to share the Navajo–Hopi Joint Use Area, commonly known as Big Mountain.
