I am beyond thrilled to share some incredible updates as our shared vision expands across borders!
An Inspiring Meet & Greet at Seattle University
Today, our Clean Water Foundation CFO Galina Cherkashina and our Youth Ambassador Alisa Cherkashina met with the brilliant students at Seattle University! Together, we are kicking off our project to design and build our very first custom AI-powered water purification units.
Having Youth Ambassador Alisa right there alongside Galina and our future engineering leaders brings so much energy and purpose to this next chapter.
Official Progress & Thanks from Venezuela
Please make sure to read the update below from Luis Urrea (Airline Ambassadors International), sharing direct appreciation on behalf of our government and regional partners in Venezuela following the incredible foundation laid by Alejandro Fernández and Nancy Rivard:
- Target Delivery (End of October): We are aiming to deliver and install our custom-made, state-of-the-art water purification units in Venezuela to support communities recovering from the severe June 24th earthquakes.
- On-the-Ground Collaboration: We are coordinating with medical personnel, fire chiefs, and FundaLaser (the non-profit arm of Laser Airlines), who have shown tremendous resilience.
- Academic Bridge: Luis is opening the door for an alliance with Universidad Marítima del Caribe in La Guaira—creating a unique bridge for cross-university collaboration with Seattle University!
Connecting Seattle, El Salvador, and Venezuela
Bringing together Seattle University leading technical AI innovation in the USA, Nancy Rivard partnering with technical schools in El Salvador, and Luis Urrea coordinating with government and local leaders in Venezuela creates an incredible international network of real-world impact.
A massive thank you to Alejandro Fernández, Nancy Rivard, Luis Urrea, Galina, Alisa, and the entire Seattle University team.
Let’s keep this momentum going as we head toward our late October deliveries!

Léon McLaughlin
CEO & President, Clean Water Foundation
As shared with you last, we’ve made significant progress in the coordination to distribute and install the Clean Water Foundation units donated to benefit the Venezuelan community negatively affected by the destructive earthquakes which occurred on June 24th 2026.
Also, it was great to hear the incredible news that Airline Ambassadors International and Clean Water Foundation have forged an alliance with the prestigious Seattle University. I applauded the efforts made by everyone who made this possible as I have no doubt that this will allow Clean Water Foundation to provide further innovation to their units being designed and manufactured here in the USA.
