About Nancy Rivard
Nancy Rivard is the founder of Airline Ambassadors International (AAI), a non-profit dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to children in need through connections within the airline industry. Since its founding in 1996, AAI has been recognized for its groundbreaking efforts and has been featured in over 600 media outlets globally. Rivard has received multiple accolades, including the Woman of Peace Award (1999), Ambassador of Peace Award (2000), and the Human Rights Hero Award (2015), among others.
Rivard holds a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University and continues to lead AAI’s initiatives while also raising awareness about human trafficking. She lives with her husband, Dave Rivard, an environmentalist and contractor. They moved to El Salvador in 2020 to help the President Nayib Bukele. Dave directs the Agency for Development and Design of the Nation.
