You too can support this project HERE!
As a result of these fundraiers We are sending water units to S. Africa!
Here is what the response was from Corey Johnson, Executive Director of Imagne Scholar in S. Africa.
“This is incredible — thank you all so much.
Thank you Kirkland Rotary for making this possible! We’re excited about the plan for delivery and the photo shoot when the unit arrives. That will be a powerful moment — especially at Isabel Academy, where 52 young children (ages 3–5) will directly benefit from access to clean, safe drinking water. The impact at that age is truly profound.
Isabel Academy is the alumni-led venture that will be supported through this project. It was founded by Zodwa (cc’d), one of our alumni, who has returned to her community to build a high-impact preschool program. Supporting this initiative beautifully reflects the legacy nature of this project — investing in young leaders who then invest back into their community.
Thank you again for your partnership and belief in this work. We’re excited to document the installation and share the story widely.
Warm regards,
Corey”
Afterwards Leon flew to Las Vegas and met Kendra Erika, She also plans to work with with Clean Water Foundation and Airline Ambassadors International on their Coffee for a Cause music projects around the world, once we get funding.
Kendra Erika: License to Thrill — A Star Steps Into Her Bond Era
On February 15, Las Vegas welcomes a new kind of leading lady.
When Kendra Erika steps onto the stage at The Space Las Vegas, audiences won’t simply be attending a concert; they’ll be entering a cinematic world. Her highly anticipated show, License to Thrill – The James Bond Songbook, marks the debut of a bold new chapter, blending timeless glamour, jazz-infused sophistication, and modern star power into a sweeping live experience designed for global stages.
Set against the electric backdrop of Las Vegas, the performance introduces Kendra’s reimagined Bond universe, dramatic arrangements, velvet vocals, and a visual aesthetic inspired by espionage elegance, all filtered through her unmistakably contemporary voice. It’s a production that feels less like a tribute and more like a reinvention.
Born and raised in Boca Raton, Kendra brings both East Coast soul and West Coast polish to her artistry, a dual influence that shaped her early musical foundation and continues to inform the emotional depth of her performances today. A Billboard-charting recording artist with multiple Top Ten dance hits, she first captured global attention with her sleek, modern reimagining of Self Control, originally made famous by Laura Branigan, a breakout release that climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Club chart and introduced Kendra to audiences worldwide.
From there, her career unfolded with chart success, millions of streams, international collaborations, and an expanding presence as both singer-songwriter and actress. Yet while dance floors brought her into the spotlight, License to Thrill signals a powerful artistic evolution, revealing a more cinematic side of Kendra, one rooted in storytelling, emotional depth, and classic vocal artistry.
Behind the scenes, License to Thrill – The James Bond Songbook is powered by a world-class creative team led by producer and arranger Myron McKinley, a Grammy-winning musical director and longtime keyboardist for Earth, Wind & Fire. His lush orchestration and cinematic sensibility shape the project’s rich soundscape, elevating each performance with sweeping arrangements that feel both timeless and contemporary. Kendra also steps into her own as a songwriter on original material featured in the show, collaborating with hitmaker Damon Sharpe to bring fresh emotional depth to the Bond-inspired universe.
Kendra extends heartfelt appreciation to the creative collaborators who helped bring the vision to life, including visual director Tolga Katas, who translated Bond-era elegance into cinematic imagery, and Technical Director Julian Miranda, whose expertise as a live performer and show architect ensures every detail, from sound to staging, supports the production’s dramatic impact. Together, the team has crafted a show that plays like a live movie, balancing legacy-level musicianship with modern artistry.
Designed as a scalable luxury production, License to Thrill is equally at home in an intimate Vegas theater, a five-star resort residency, or on international stages. For Kendra, this isn’t simply a concert format; it’s a world she’s building, one that blends classic glamour with contemporary storytelling.
And Las Vegas is just the launchpad.
Conversations are already underway around future Vegas engagements, luxury cruise appearances, and an international touring concept that would bring Kendra’s cinematic Bond experience to audiences around the world. The format is tailor-made for elegant theaters and premier destinations, where sophistication meets spectacle. Adding to the immersive experience, the show features iconic Bond film visuals reimagined, with Kendra seamlessly placed into each scene, a striking fusion of classic cinema and modern artistry that brings her leading-lady vision to life.
February 15 marks the beginning.
With License to Thrill, Kendra Erika isn’t just revisiting iconic music; she’s redefining it, creating a glamorous new platform that bridges generations and genres. From chart-topping dance artist to cinematic leading lady, she’s entering her Bond era with poise, power, and undeniable presence, shaken, not stirred.
