Also, just this month Maitza Baida and Desiree Douglas delivered our latest custom made water units as well as computers to 450 children in Cuba! The filters we sent take out viruses and contaminants. Maritza Baida, Desiree Douglas and their dance team helped with a fundraiser last month to provide for those water units and computers that can provide over 450 children and their families clean fresh drinking water.

“We gave two water units: 1.) to an elementary school in Buey Arriba called Circulo Infantil Florecitas del Cafeto. The second place is at a residential home where the community goes to charge their phones. This is the only house where they have solar power. In this residential home, they feed a lot of people, give out medicine and offer free phone charging and they also haven’t a water well that helps the community to get water to drink. They boil the water. But now with the water unit, they don’t have to work so hard to give out water. The home owner is Ana Elia Perez and Elvira Perez. They are known all over the village because they never close their door if people need food, water, electricity and medicine.

3.) the third and last place we donated the water unit was at the Provincial Cultural Center in Santiago. They are like the county center for culture. A place where the community gathers for various cultural events.”

We’re now able to provide our custom-made water units and replacement filters that takes out viruses and contaminants to Dominican Republic, Panama and Alejandro Fernandez will personally deliver those water units, Maritza will be bringing more replacement filters to Cuba there and we will soon send replacemen filters to the the Hopi and Navajo Reservation out of Arizona.
