CEO of Clean Water Foundation, Leon McLaughlin welcomed Rachael McDonald as the new the Chief Marketing Officer role at the Clean Water Foundation of Washington with a unique blend of experience across talent acquisition, sales, and strategic communications.
Her career began in talent acquisition, where she led high-volume hiring strategies and partnered closely with senior leadership at Amazon to support organizational growth. She later transitioned into a client-facing role as in Amazon Ads, managing a $35M+ portfolio and developing data-driven marketing strategies for national eCommerce brands. Throughout her career, Rachael has built expertise in messaging, stakeholder engagement, and campaign optimization—skills that translate directly into nonprofit marketing. Her ability to craft compelling narratives, use data to inform strategy, and build lasting partnerships makes her especially well-positioned to elevate the Foundation’s mission and expand its global impact.

Airline Ambassadors has been working with Clean Water Foundation since 2016 raising funds to provide water filters for the Hopi.Navajo Reservaton and vulnerable children around the world. “Rachael is just what we need to help leverage our amazing contacts and take our efforts to the next level!” said Nancy Rivard, Founder of Airine Ambassadors.
