Hi everyone!

I’m excited to announce the dates for our next mission trip to Johannesburg South Africa
May 10th-15 please arrive by May 10.
May 16-18 optional Safari (additional cost)

During the trip, we’ll be working with two different orphanages, helping with projects like painting, hopefully finishing small details on a home we are currently having rebuilt, and sharing fun activities with the kids like crafts, games, and new experiences they’ve never had before.We will be planning a special Mother’s Day celebration for Sharon and Maria they have raised so many children.  We would like to honor them on Mother’s Day with a surprise which we are planning now.
This trip isn’t just about giving back; it’s about forming connections and making a lasting impact on the lives of these children. Your presence and support can truly make a difference.

The cost of the trip is $850 per person, which covers all activities with the kids, transportation while in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a donation to the orphanages with any money we have left over from our group.
The guest house we stay in is called The Sun Rock and costs are an additional $300-$400 for the week, and include breakfast each morning. Dinner is optional but available as a buffet for about $12 per meal.  The space gets filled up quickly so please let me know as soon as you can.

After the trip, we’ll doing an optional 2-3 day safari experience for about $300-500 which includes 3-4 game drives and meals during the safari. This will be a Glamping or lodge whichever is available for us.  Plan to stay a few extra days if you’d like to join us for this unforgettable adventure!

If you want to do any excursions before the trip I suggest arriving a day or 2 early.  There’s so much to do; Walking with the Lions, elephant excursion, tour of Johannesburg, Apartheid museum and so much more.  Also Cape Town is amazing.  I can help with any arrangements or please feel free to add anything yourself.  You won’t be disappointed.

Closer to the trip, I’ll share packing tips and a suggested list of items to bring, including optional donations like school supplies, clothes, and hygiene products for the kids. Often, friends and family are happy to donate these items if you let them know what’s needed!
