We had a delightful party on Dec 11 for the elders at Zaragosa Home!

Thanks to the Floracian Foundation an incredible Santa and his “Elf” distributed individual presents for each “abuelo” (These gifts had been donated by our whole team!) Yamille Bukele transformed the facility into a winter wonderland and later provided a festive Christmas cake. Her daughter Sophie participated too and entertained the crowd with lovely Christmas carols. Thank you to Eli who provided a delicious lunch of Pollo Campero and see for yourself the amazing pictures! Rhwawney Zubko provided a special “blind cane” for one of our favorite residents – Maria, who has been blind since age 54.

We raised money during our fundraiser last month and what a joy to see the new floor in the facility and Lisselot let us know she had found a donor to continue the new floor into each of the resident’s rooms! Thank you to each of you who made the event so special.
