Grace and Peace to All:
This is Bishop Donna Hubbard Executive Director of Woman At The Well Transition Center. Its time again to begin our 2023 Christmas Angels Childrens Holiday Event sponsorship. This will be our 29th year serving women and families impacted by incarceration and human trafficking, and our 22nd year of Christmas Angels Childrens Holiday Event.
Our theme this year is “A Night Under the Stars.” We will turn the Villages at Carver YMCA into a slumber party for children and families. Manga African Dance Company featuring Storyteller Mother Koku who thrilled and entertained the children and families last year will again join us.
Our goal is to serve no less than 70 families and 150 children an evening of community family, food, fun and holiday cheer. We have counselors, chaperones and volunteers anxious to serve these children and families. Your donations have always made the difference between a good event and a great experience. All of your support makes a difference. All your support would be appreciated, no donation is too small. We are a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization providing support, education, resources and counseling for women, and families most impacted by incarceration and human trafficking.
