Rescued from

The eastern part
of the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East

Reports from Dr. Bascom Bradshaw, a physician caring for troops in Afghanistan and and Iraq, explain that they need to get Whiskey out of Quatar as the base will put the animal down and the police in the area outside the base use the animals for target practice.
About Whiskey
Whiskey is very friendly 1 1/2 year old Shepard mix. He is great with people and is learning commands quickly. He is kennel-trained and loves to sleep and chew his treats in the kennel. He would be great in a one-pet
household. He is house broken and will let you know
when he needs to go outside. Whiskey walks
beautifully on a leash and would make a good
running companion. Whiskey has had his first round
of vaccinations (Rabies/Distemper/Canine Coronavirus)
and is neutered.

There will be no expense or paperwork involved in adopting Whiskey.
He will be arriving at
Washington Dulles Airport at 5:05pm on Qatar Airways Flight 51 on January 15. If you can meet the doctor as he arrives at Dulles, Whiskey can be yours.
To make arrangements,
please contact:

Holiday Needs Are Greater Than Ever

Mission Coordinator (and Santa) Arthur Kanegis reports,
"Throughout Baja the economy is even worse than the states. Most Christmases, La Fonda brings kids from the Rancho Milagro orphanage in for a posada. Business is so
bad this year they had to cancel it. La Palapa de Jose
says they have to close until spring. The US economic problems are multiplied because drug wars have frightened people from coming down...
The needs of the orphanages are greater than ever. Many are unable to pay their electric and water bills, and beg us for toilet paper!"

Mexico -- Propane for Food and Bathing!
Immediate Help Needed
News from
Becky Gahman, AAI Mission Coordinator:
Casa de Paz Needs Hot, Healthy Water for Food and Bathing

"Casa de Paz is one of the largest orphanages south of Ensenada, Mexico, with more than 75 children, 10 of them with special needs. Through recent economic challenges, they have lost the financial support and rely totally on donations from the states and charitable organizations.
They recently have been neglected because of issues such as gas prices, the falling value of the dollar, passport requirements and the escalating violence in Tijuana. An immediate need is to keep their propane gas from being turned off because of delinquency in payment. Their bill is $1400. This will happen in a few days. Without propane they will no longer be able to cook the children's food or bathe."
Share a gift of warmth from your heart for these needy children. You can help by donating to our Emergency Fund for "Casa de Paz". ANY contributions will help!
You can make a difference in someone's life!

Dec. 19 Charity Flight to Haiti.....$1M in aid delivered!
This event went off without a hitch. Many thanks to William Dise and George Hazy Gen.Manager for AA in MIA.
AA lent us an A-300 aircraft - and Ruth Matranga, our MIA Director, coordinated a crew of 11 volunteers
(pilots and flight attendants).
The cargo hold was filled and we stuffed every overhead bin with aid. Four TV crews also joined the flight.
Many thanks to Leslie Sosnowski who paid for most of the fuel via a donation to Airline Ambassadors.
Our success for this mission was due particularly to American Airlines and we never could have accomplished so much without this spectacular support -- largely to you, Frank Campagna!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You can help future missions by selecting
the Donate Button and indicate:
Haiti Relief Effort in the memo section.
AAI will continue to send water purifiers, medical supplies,
and food with your donations. Thank you!
