A Warm Heart Cuddles a Tiny Head
Lillian Abramson, mother of our Latin American Regional Director, Mireille Hanna, has been busy knitting one wool hat a day for children in our cold climate projects.
Her hats have traveled to the high Andes, via flight crews taking them to Lima, Santiago, and wherever they are most needed.
Anyone wanting to contribute yarn to keep Lillian knitting should contact Mireille at mireio75@aol.com.

“I believe we all have a fundamental desire to contribute to making the world a better place,” says Nancy Rivard, founder of Airline Ambassadors International, a nonprofit humanitarian relief organization composed of airline employees and “civilian” volunteers who distribute medical and other aid to people in need all over the globe. “Personal fulfillment is a powerful impetus,” says Rivard.
