"Can you believe that 5 years ago at FLOW when Rob Hail (founder of Email Foster Parent Program that I am now on the board of directors as of Sunday!) first met the kids, they were going to school without breakfast, had 2 meals a day, one of which was rice. Now from their high school graduates they have 20 going to college, and others going to vocational programs. Talk about transforming lives. How cool is that!
When I saw Sophanna last January I got him a watch from the Russian Market in Phnom Penh. He was so surprised and happy. But I got what I paid for and it stopped working within a few months and I was quite embarrassed. So I asked Maurice to select a watch for Sophanna from his collection. It had a lot of buttons and no instructions so I knew it was perfect since Sophanna is SO smart (but soooo shy.)"

Dear mom Deborah,
How are you? I am very fine. I go to Institute by bicycle. I am trying to study hard. My teachers are men. They are good teachers. In my class, there are only two girls. I study Civil Engineering. For the first term, I have to study six subjects like English, Technical drawing, Physic, Philosophy, Engineering Mechanic and Engineering Mathematic. My young cousin studies accounting. Her name is Sreyrath.
I would like to thank you very much for supporting me to go to the university. I am very happy to be able to study at university. If I don’t have you, I won’t have a chance to attend the university. In FLOW, there are 20 students who are going to attend college this year.
