Thank You Belinda,

LDS, Henry Schein & the 82nd!

Port-au-Prince (February 12, 2010)--

In the first days after the catastrophic earthquake that the United Nations says has caused the worst humanitarian crisis in its history, the Canada-based Belinda Stronach Foundation entered into partnership with Airline Ambassadors to provide 70,000 lbs of food and medicine on weekly cargo flights from Toronto for twelve weeks.

Airline Ambassadors has received three of these flights to date, the most recent one arriving today, and with help from the U.S. 82nd Airborne and the Haitian National Police will distribute food in the populous Delmas 33 district of Port-au-Prince tomorrow where some 70,000 people are expected to be reached.

As AAi's medical director Dr Daniel Susott says, "the 82nd has been awesome, giving us hope that we may yet have a peace-keeping force we can all be proud of..."

Airline Ambassadors has also partnered with LDS Charities - the largest such charity in the world - to provide relief aid to Haiti, as well as the Henry Schein Foundation.   Along with the Belinda Stronach Foundation, these two organizations have now provided Airline Ambassadors with $1.3 million in aid.

These three organizations have saved countless lives in Haiti and will continue to save many thousands of others with their extraordinary humanitarian commitment.  Airline Ambassadors is proud to be working with them.
