Bogota - Columbia -

Ninos por el Nuevo Planeto, Adopted Project:

Thanks to Alex Restapo, Martha Orozco, Maryann Gelvez and our Bogota team who provided support for Hogares Luz y Vida orphanage for abandoned and disabled children, and Ninos por el Nuevo Planeto.  This home was begun by a young couple who took in 500 abandoned children and they need EVERYTHING! - diapers, sheets, hygiene items, clothing and food. Thanks to Travel Pro, each orphan has a place for personal "treasures" at the foot of every bed (a traveling footlocker).   AAI also delivered hospital equipment, donations and services to the hospitals in San Juan del Guaviere, Putumayo , and Tucano as well as clinics in their outlying areas.  Thanks to LDS Charities for this critical equipment.

Don't miss the Ninos por el Nuevo Planeto video (in Spanish)!

George Nason Reports:

The power of one magician on the world!

Smiles and laughs, and surprises.

There cannot be a better gift to the world than kids with big smiles. Food and drink when kids are hungry.  A shirt or a new dress...or clean pants that bring a big smile to a little face.

Crazy George, the magician for AAI, goes around the world doing just that. He has traveled to Guatemala, Argentina, San Salvador , Thailand.  Now retired from a major airline, he makes time to do even more.  Look for this crazy magician on your next mission.  He's a hard working, get it done, magic man!
